Spring Family Conference 2019

Wellmark YMCA, Des Moines, IA

Spring Family Conference was held at the Wellmark YMCA in downtown Des Moines on April 6, 2019, with a family fun night on Friday, April 5th, 2019.  We had a GREAT time!  It was good to see families again and meet new ones.  Thank you to all of the IESBVI staff, to our breakout session presenters and to Lisamarie Martinez for delivering the keynote address to parents and sharing with students. Meet Sam the Ram - IESBVI Mascot

We would like to introduce everyone to - Sam the Ram, the IESBVI Mascot!! The winner of our "Name the IESBVI Mascot" was Susan Rolinger, our Director of Extended Learning. Since Susan is ineligible to win, the sweatshirt will be a door prize at the IESBVI Spring Family Conference, which will be held in Des Moines at the Downtown YMCA on April 6th. Wrestling and Cheerleading Clinic December 5th, 2018

Clinic at ISVI for Cheerleaders and Wrestlers

On December 4th, 2018 the IESBVI Cheerleaders, wrestlers,and  Mascot traveled to Jacksonville, IL to participate in a clinic  at the  Illinois School for the Visually Impaired.  This clinic helped prepare teams for the  upcoming NCASB wrestling and cheerleading conference event in January, 2019.  The staff and students  had a great  time!
