2011 NCASB Goal Ball Conference
Team Iowa travelled to Janesville, Wisconsin on Friday, November 4 to participate in the 2011 NCASB Goal Ball Conference Championships. Checkout our videos and pictures of the tournament. The Iowa girls lost an opening round match with Tennessee and the boys’ team lost to a tough Missouri team on Friday night.
Competition continued on Saturday with the girls and boys teams both playing with determination and improved performance. Both teams did lose their opportunity to further advance in the tournament on Saturday morning. During the afternoon team Iowa held a scrimmage with a competitive Wisconsin team and was able to enjoy more competition and play.
The weekend concluded with a social for all nine teams in the Badger Den. Students participating enjoyed the competition with peers, meeting new friends from Iowa and other states and the opportunity to represent the state of Iowa.
