  • Desktop Stick-On Number Lines: Large Print-Braille (5-pack)  http://www.aph.org  1-03481-00
    • Number lines are available for large print and braille readers.  APH’s Desktop Stick-On Number Lines visually and/or tactually demonstrate basic number concepts in counting, sequencing, number recognition, number relationships, addition, and subtraction. These self-adhesive number lines are perfect for the student’s desk or tabletop. The adhesive will not permanently stick to surfaces or mar them. Each number line is reusable for approximately five times before the adhesive becomes ineffective.

    • The Common Core State Standard for Mathematics (2102) references number lines for teaching mathematical concepts. The standards range from representing whole number sums on a number line at the elementary level, to representing fractions at the intermediate level, to locating irrational numbers at the middle school level.
    • The Number Line Device consists of three parts: a blue plastic base with storage compartment for number lines and pegs, 15 interchaneable vinyl number line segments in large print and braille, and 40 plastic cylinders/pegs with an arrow formation on one end that may be used by older math students as they graph lines and rays.
