6th Annual Holiday Party

Let it be Christmas …..

On Saturday, December 3rd families across the state attended the 6th Annual Holiday Party at the Iowa Braille School campus.  The children and siblings enjoyed a morning of edible crafts, movies, arts and crafts and games.  Parents were able to socialize with each other and receive information from Family Services and Transition Specialist, Phyllis McGowan on popular holiday games and gifts for the blind and visually impaired child.

The group enjoyed a pizza lunch and a visit from Santa Claus highlighted the day.  After Santa departed for the North Pole the families were able to swim or play Holiday Bingo.  The day ended with hot chocolate, cookies and a sing along with guest guitarist, Todd Frank.  See you next year and
