Simple Food Preparation including lunch and snacks, incorporated identification and safe use of utensils and appliances, including the oven.  Measuring, opening and closing various containers and proper storage techniques were also practiced. Posture, serving, pouring, and cutting skills were practiced while eating.  Lunch conversation included the opportunity for socialization and table manners.  Simple housekeeping tasks including wiping surfaces and vacuuming the floor were completed after eating.
