2019 Summer Camp Registration is Open!!

Summer Time Fun - Something for Everyone

Sports.  Gaming.  Nature.  Cooking.  Shopping.  Primping. Socializing. Swimming. Boating. Arts & Crafts.

Our summer programming blends excitement, education, and enjoyment.  This year, we will host five residential camps and six regional day camps across the state.

Watch your mailbox and/or inbox for the full brochure.  Can't wait to receive it?  Click the link below!

We've made some changes to our programming based on feedback from staff, campers and their parents:

Regional Day Camps in Four Areas of the State:  We are again offering week long day camps in Des Moines and Fairfield.  Day camps have been added in Sioux Center, Dubuque, and Mt. Pleasant.  Contact information for each camp is located in the brochure (link below).

Transportation Routes for 2 Residential Camps:  IESBVI will be running limited transportation routes along Highway 20 to Camp Abilities in Cedar Falls and along I-80 for Master Chef, Jr. in Council Bluffs.  This will involve a great deal of planning.  If you would like to take advantage of this service, the Extended Learning Program Annual Paperwork must be completed by May 1st.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  For more information, contact Cindy Bryan, 712-366-3267 or email: cindy.bryan@iaedb.org

Camp Abilities Now Open to Young Adults:  This year, students age 7-21 are able to attend our most popular camp at the University of Northern Iowa campus.  Also, new to Camp Abilities:  Soccer 5-a-side, also known as football 5-a-side, an adaptation of soccer for kids who are blind or visually impaired - here's a video.

Space is limited - Register now.
