Governance & Administration
The Statewide System for Vision Services / Iowa Braille School is governed by the Board of Regents, State of Iowa. The nine-member board is appointed by the Governor, with approval of the General Assembly.
The Statewide System for Vision Services is both a collaborative effort and a contractual agreement among the Board of Regents, the Department of Education, the Area Education Agencies and the Iowa Department for the Blind.
