Winter Olympics

5:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9th - 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10th, 2018

Enjoy an evening at the Iowa Braille School and then participate in a day of outdoor activities at the Benton County Nature Reserve.  Students must be between the ages of 8 - 15 and also need to have age appropriate daily living skills, be willing to participate in all activities, and enjoy being active all day. Iowa Rams compete in Jacksonville Wrestling Tournament

Four Iowa High School wrestlers traveled to Jacksonville, Illinois on Saturday, December 16, to compete in the Jacksonville JV Tournament.  Varsity wrestlers from the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI) and Junior Varsity wrestlers from 7 nearby high schools participated in this event. 98 lbs – In his inaugural debut, Thomas Rinabarger lost a hard-fought decision to Alexis Kamp of Notre Dame High School in . . .

Family Swim - Holiday Event

The Holiday season began at Iowa School for the Deaf as three families welcomed Santa.  Children enjoyed swimming, playing holiday games and creating holiday treats.   After a pizza lunch, Santa arrived and visited with children and families.   The group enjoyed some cookies and cocoa after Santa returned to the North Pole.   Merry Christmas to all!     . . .

7th Annual Holiday event - Iowa Braille

The Holiday season began at Iowa Braille School as 13 families welcomed Santa.  Children enjoyed playing holiday games and creating holiday treats. Following lunch there was a fierce game of Bingo and a visit to Woody’s cave.   Christmas caroling with cookies and cocoa ended the final Holiday event on Iowa Braille campus.   Merry Christmas to all!    7th . . .
