Happy Birthday to Mary Ingalls! January 10, 1865 Mary was enrolled at the Iowa College for the Blind in Vinton, Iowa from 1881 – 1889. The name was changed to Iowa School for the Blind in 1926, then to Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in 1951. Lighthouse Guild Announces College Scholarships

Lighthouse Guild offers one of the most generous scholarship programs for students who are visually impaired in the country. This year the program will award approximately 20 college-bound scholarships of $10,000 each and one graduate scholarship of $10,000.
