Extended Learning Program Information and Registration

Extended Learning Opportunities are coordinated activities that support learning communities for students, professionals and families. They are available regionally emphasizing areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum: compensatory skills, social interaction skills, independent living, recreation/leisure, sensory efficiency, orientation and mobility, assistive technology, self-determination and career education and transition.

NCASB (North Central Association of Schools for the Blind) sponsors Goalball, Cheerleading, Wrestling, Track & Field, Swimming and Forensics competitions throughout the year for students in 7th grade and/or 14 years of age, up to 20 years of age as of September 1st of the current school year.  If you are interested in representing the Iowa Rams please contact:

Crystal Beighley, crystal.beighley@iaedb.org

As opportunities become available information will be posted on our website, Facebook page and distributed by TVI's and OMS.  The Annual Registration Form must be completed to participate in Extended Learning Program activities.  Participation on our NCASB teams also requires an updated athletic physical.
